I grew up on my family’s farm in Maha Sarakham, the heart of Northeast Thailand’s Isan region. From a young age I prepared fresh Thai and Isan dishes every morning to sell at the local market before school – learning to balance chilli, lime, fish sauce and herbs perfectly using ingredients straight from the fields.
That same passion is what I now bring to St Albans. At Kats Oriental Cuisine (25 Drakes Drive, AL1 5AG) every Red Curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai, stir-fry and fried rice dish is made fresh to order with real Thai herbs and top-quality ingredients – exactly how I learned as a child.
